THE COURTAULD GALLERY
I co-curated this exhibition as part of my Master's degree at The Courtauld Institute of Art. I also led on the design of the exhibition poster and postcard, both of which were intended to appeal to a younger audience than The Courtauld's standard 50+ visitor demographic.
The hero image - 'Dan' by the contemporary photographer Wolfgang Tillmans (2008) - youthful colours and typeface were key factors in marketing the exhibition as an intervention in the established gallery space, famous for its Old Masters and Impressionists. The 'millennial pink' and dark blue colour scheme was echoed in the walls colours of the exhibition itself.
