GRAPHIC DESIGN & BRANDING
This small charity approached me to re-design their logo and promotional print materials. The trustees were keen to maintain the multi-coloured spoke and wheel design of their original logo which referenced their eponymous tandem bicycle. I therefore kept the holding shape, refined the spoke lines and brightened the colours, as well as introducing a friendlier and more dynamic wordmark. This full colour logo is complemented by a monochrome wordmark lock-up when black and white is more appropriate or economical.
The promotional leaflet and fundraising guide make use of a darker secondary colour to complement the brightness of the logo. I used free stock imagery and the readily accessible Open Sans so as not to incur large bills and enable the trustees to edit the documents themselves when changes are needed. To this end, I produced a set of clear visual identity guidelines so that it is easy to maintain the brand in the future.
